Hi parents: Your student's CAS proposals are due in to Ms. Crawford right away. Please encourage them to see her about CAS. Your students have to do 150 hours of CAS volunteering. One way to get up to 25 hours of credit is through peer tutoring. We need IB students who are strong in Math and Science to tutor other IB students who may not be as strong. Two birds with one stone...get Service credit and help out.

Coach Travis Cantrell is organizing the first LPF test out. If you are going to test out, see him for a schedule. Those of you who have taken sports only need to take the written portion of that test. Couch Cantrell or Ms. Haines or Ms. Crawford will know the dates for the written test. Please try and get that out of the way ASAP.

If you need to take US government, you can do so on-line beginning immediately. See Mr. Zartmann in room 51 to sign up and begin this open-ended course.

If you need to take Alaska Studies, you will be able to do so on-line in second semester, or in summer school. The details of both options are currently being worked out. Stay tuned.
