OverviewThe chatroom is a place online where one can chat in real time with other users about the MSN Messenger protocol. There are several ways of participating in the chatroom. Each gateway below is linked together into one meta-chatroom with messages relayed between networks. IRCIRC (for more information, see IRChelp.org) is currently the preferred method of chatting. Just point your IRC client to Freenode (irc.freenode.net) and join #msn. Even if the MSN gateway is down, IRC will always be up as long as Freenode is running. Java AppletIf you would like to chat within your web browser, you may use the Java Applet. It is an interface to the IRC facet of the chatroom. JabberTo chat via Jabber, join the public groupchat: msn@conference.jabber.org MSN SwitchboardThis is currently disabled. |
